Fireplace Plug

The Fireplace Plug is a proprietary and unique energy saving weather strip product that is 100% made in the USA.  In field testing and real life installations, it has proven to be the most effective method of sealing the fireplace when it is not being used.  It is an inflatable pillow that is easily installed below the damper and creates a quick and effective weather strip seal.  The Fireplace Plug is only used when the fireplace is not in use.  The material used for the Fireplace Plug is a special formulated poly urethane material designed to be robust and durable enough for the Fireplace Plug to survive the rugged fire box environment.

Enviro Energy has an exclusive agreement for US sales and marketing initiatives with Battic Door Energy Conservation Products, their efforts include national retail chains and distributors and e-net sales outlets.  Their sales promotions include advertisements in magazines, catalogues, store flyers, as well as demonstrations at shopping centers and trade shows

Enviro Energy provides business expertise to Battic Door management as required to assist with strategic planning and retailer negotiations. We continually work to develop improvements to issues raised by consumers; include dealing with over sized fireboxes, development of an installation kit and maximizing air sealing capability.

Enviro Energy is searching for a research or testing agency in the Phoenix area that will partner with us to test fireplace a/c losses in a hot weather climate .

Enviro Energy has succeeded in raising the level of awareness of the Fireplace Plug's potential, to US DOE Weatherization agencies, and is working towards a official product approval listing for the Fireplace Plug so that it will be routinely installed by contractors in homes with existing fireplaces.
